Messi Gets Four Match International Ban.

Argentina captain has been given a four match international ban by FIFA on Tuesday after he verbally abused the match official in a World Cup qualifier against Chile.

Messi was suspended along with a fine of $10,160 by FIFA’s disciplinary panel. He will miss Argentina’s remaining qualifiers including Tuesday’s game against Bolivia.

According to FIFA, Messi was guilty of directing insulting words at an assistant referee and added that the decision is in line with the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s previous ruling on similar cases.
