Kim and Kanye turn down $5 million deals for first photos of their newborn child
The world waited a full two months to see pictures of both North and Saint West. It seems the case won’t be any different with their child Chicago who was born through a surrogate on Monday
They are reportedly keen to keep to their own timetable the third around, after turning down mega-money deals for the first glimpse of their newborn.
According to TMZ, accepting deals to the likes of $2 and $5million that are on the table would be against the couple’s ‘morals‘.
The report states that Kim – who is a prolific Instagram user with 106million followers – immediately rejected money from outlets for the first pictures.
They are believed to consider ‘security and safety‘ paramount, and therefore want to wait until the timing is right.
A first picture of North was posted on social media two months after her birth in 2013, and the same amount of time passed after Saint’s birth in December 2015 before fans were able to see his picture on Instagram.
Kim and Kanye were both in the delivery room with the surrogate, although the rapper was behind a curtain until after the baby was born, according to TMZ.
Kim was the first person to hold the baby girl for skin-to-skin bonding, but the surrogate was allowed some contact with the child after the birth.
Her sisters Kourtney, Khloe and mother Kris were also at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., where the family’s doctor Dr. Paul Crane oversaw the delivery. SDE
