CHAN: Nigeria beat Libya to keep qualification hopes alive

The home-based Super Eagles on Friday defeated their Libyan counterparts 1-0 in the ongoing African Nations Championship, keeping hopes of progressing to the next round alive.

The Eagles got the winner in the 79th minute courtesy a Sunday Faleye’s goal.

Nigeria temporarily move to the top of Group C with four points from two games, while awaiting the result of the tie between Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea. Punch
