Despite scoring first, Arsenal went behind twice in the game before substitutes Ramsey and Giroud came in to ensure that Arsenal didn’t suffer a first day defeat.
New signing, Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring with a header in the second minute while Shinji Okazaki, equalised three minutes later for Leicester, with Jamie Vardy putting Leicester ahead in the 29th minute.
Danny Welbeck tapped in from inside the box to level the score for the home side 2-2. Vardy restored the Foxes’ lead just after 11 minutes of play and were under pressure for most parts of the second half before substitute, Ramsey scored in the 83rd minute to restore parity at 3-3. Olivier Giroud headed the winner in the 85th minute to end the game at 4-3.
Arsene Wenger in an interview said the team refused to give up.
